Stupid Guest Tricks

I did some power riding in the singles line on Everest today and ran into a new sort of SG. I was sent to a row with a man whose wife and child were in the row ahead. He climbed in the train and took the first seat instead of moving over so I could sit down. At first, I just lightly tapped his shoulder and pointed to the other seat, but he stared blankly at me and then ignored me. Next, I said, "I am a single rider. Could you please move over so I can sit down?" Once again, blank star...not a word. I knew he understood English because he had been talking to his family...definitely American.

FINALLY SG moved over and let me get in the train. But for the whole ride, I could feel his annoyance washing over me in waves as he gave me "The Look" that is normally reserved for someone who accuses your mother of sleeping with doberman pinschers. Shame on Disney for trying to efficiently fill the trains! How are they have a single riders line and force him to sit with a stranger!!

How could he not want to ride with you? You think your charming personality would have made him want to ride with you. It is a common misconception that you do not necessarily get to ride alone in that seat except on Bobsleds. That might be fun to share a seat with a cute guy on Boblseds.

If he was glaring then you should have given him the look back.

Shoulda told him to move over or the lapdance will cost him $25.00. Maybe stepped on him to get to the other seat.... that might be interesting.

When I was there last August me and the GF's son were going to ride Misson Space, two of us, they sent us to a row with a lady and a girl about the same age as my GF's son. We were all standing on our designated spots, numbered I think, when the doors opened and the lady moved we all found out she had a small boy with her, he was small and not on his spot so when the CM's looked there were two empty spots, one for each of us and mom shielded him from view. Fortunatly, they found us another spot with a dad and son who were a lot of fun to ride with. I think some people really have a hard time understanding one spot/seat on an attraction equals one rider.

Syndome needs to wear High Heelies. They are not invented but are ideal for people who get in your way. They are sneakers but a simple move and like heelies out will pop stilletto style high heels. OUCH. Show him that you have sneakers on and then wait for him to stop crying in pain and move.

What makes the Single Riders think that they are sooooooo special thinking that they cheat the system. They just don't understand the concept of Sing Rider.

Oh, to have been in your shoes and let him pull down the restraint so he can't move and THEN climb over him. I would have made sure to slip so that my rear end hit his head.

Then, you get off. "Nice riding with you! Have a Disney day!"

Thanks to all the wonderful input, I have planned my strategy for next time this happens. I say loudly to SG, "So are you going to move over, or do you just want me to climb on you and get in the seat over there?" No response means tacit permission to step right in his lap (thereby crushing his crotch). :twisted: The heels would be a bonus in that case!!

Either way, after the ride starts pretend to get sick and act like you're going to blow chow on him.
