I don't know if this is in the correct place. If not, mods obviously feel free to move it.

Also, I am still organizing pictures, so this is text only until then.

Our trip to WDW was from Friday, May 4th through Wednesday, May 9th. Before we left, I had exchanged a few PMs with bgpstudios, and his last PM was, "Have a safe flight with no SG encounters..." Hey thanks for guaranteeing that I would! :p:

We get to the airport (Philadelphia) unscathed, get on the plane, push away from the gate, only to have a takeoff delay of 45 min to 1 hour. It wouldn't have been too bad except for the 3 year old behind me who decided that he was going to kick me seat for the entire hour. After several dirty looks at the mother, the mother said, "I'm sorry sir. What do you want me to do? He's three." I replied, "Maybe he shouldn't be on an airplane if he can't behave." She didn't reply to that. Too bad.

We arrived in Orlando, got our luggage, rental car (no DME), and headed toward WDW. I then called my friend Erik who is a CM. We were planning to meet for lunch, and I didn't want him to think I blew him off. So we met up at TGI Fridays at the Crossroads shopping center (just across the from one of the entrances to WDW). We had a great lunch, and we took some pictures.

After lunch, Erik went off to take pictures at MK, and we (my wife and I) went to DTD. That is our usual routine, since we don't want to waste a half day in the parks. It a good afternoon for saying, "we have arrived," to shop, and start relaxing.

Saturday, we decided to go to Epcot for two reasons. One, it was the Flower and Garden Festival. Two, on our last trip, the day we were planning on going to Epcot, is was raining. We decided to go anyway. But with ponchos, taking them off and putting them on, our legs were killing us, nothing was open outside, it was just a real PITA.

Saturday and Sunday were the two hottest days of our trip. The temps hit at least 90 deg, which I know you Floridians are used to, but WHEW! We were definitely NOT ready for it. We hit most of the F & G exhibits, took pictures of the topiaries that we found along the way, and definitely enjoyed ourselves. The flowers are beautiful! We had planned on seeing some of the World Showcase entertainment, especially Off-Kilter in Canada. We found out that Off-Kilter was not playing until Monday. :(

We did the usual stuff: Soarin', Mission Space, Test Track, Living with the Land. Then stopped for lunch at the Electric Umbrella. SG moment: Our routine is to "split up." She goes and orders, and I go and find a table. So I went upstairs, to an empty second floor, and grab a table by the window. Along comes a group of middle schoolers, and where do they sit ? You got it, one table away. So we ended up moving.
