Levels of Employment?

I've seen CR referred to many times, and according to the Acronyms thread, this is a "Casual Regular CM". What are the different levels that exist in the structure and how are they different?

CT work only peak seasons.. ie: summer, winter and spring break
CR work weekends and peak seasons and during the week if requested
RFT have a set schedule and set location...though scheduling sends them everywhere.
the bad thing about being a CT is they dont get the blue pass
theres other things i dont know about.
I'm only a CR

RFT is Regular Full Time and they get 40 hours a week no matter what.
They used to have what they call CR - 25 - where CM are guarenteed at least 25 hours a week. If they can't get work, they will put them to work doing almost anything like just sweeping.

Ah, I understand now. Are most CMs RFT then?
Also, what is the "blue pass"?

I think there may be more CR than RFT, but the RFT get more hours.
And of course then there are also people who are salaried as opposed to hourly. These tend to be either managers or professionals.
The Blue Pass is given to CMs, usually a few weeks after hire. It will allow them to bring in guests to the major parks 12 times during the calendar year. Normally the number is the CM plus three plus the number of family members living at home with them. A CM's spouse or registered partner will also get a Blue Pass; however both cannot be used on the same day and the two are linked for the limited entries.
There is also a Silver Pass which is given to hourly CMs with 15 or more years employment and to salaried staff; this is like the Blue Pass but it is not limited to number of days per year.

Thanks for the info. All the things I never knew. :)
I'm kindof wondering what the attitude of hourly CMs towards salaried/professional CMs is. I know some of them are disliked, but that seems to be more on an individual basis. I guess my question is: is there a certain grudge or view towards the salaried ones because they don't have to deal with SGs as much?

I don't have a problem with salaried CM's. I only have a problem with managers that don't stand up for regular CM's. Unfortunately, that's most of them.
I will say that most managers see SG's when they are at their worst and you can't pay me enough to do that job.

We get 16 times on the blue pass.
I've never reached it though.

I would assume you get an unlimited number of entries for yourself? (No guests)
