Stupid Guest Tricks

I haven't snagged a prize myself, but from reading enough trips reports, I know that the awards are given randomly, on criteria like "everyone on a particular boat on Living With The Land" or "everyone on a particular cycle of Star Tours" etc. But at AK the other day, the family with Dream Fastpasses who had stopped five abreast in the middle of the walkway (completed with SUV stroller-tank) as they stared dumbly around them made me realize that there are probably other criteria of which I was not previously aware. The award goes to:

-First family that stops directly in the middle of the main pathway at park opening.
-First stroller mom to take out another guest's ankle.
-First kid to pass Point A on Heelies.
-First guest to ask "Where is Spaceship Earth?" while standing below the globe.
-First guest to toss their trash on the ground within one foot of a trashcan.
-First guest to try to use their Fastpass early at a particular attraction.

(Sorry, can't help it...I'm still a little cranky that I didn't get to ride Everest because of the wicked long line...even for singles!).

I can see where you are coming from Syndrome. One of my roommates is on the DreamSquad and I ask her questions all the time about how the prizes are given out. It really is all about being at the right place at the right time. They're given a slip of paper that tells them where to go and at what time to look up and spot a Guest. Kinda weird, yes. I do wish you the best of luck at getting something... If I could snag a freebie of some sort (not the prizes because she doesnt have access to those cept at work) would that tide you over? Cause I'd try... :D

Actually I'm not frustrated about not winning (although I wouldn't turn down a prize if the Dream Squad forced it on me, ha ha!). I was just feeling sarcastic after witnessing typical SG behavior, and seeing it perfomed by the Dream Fastpass family inspired me to come up with the SG-related prize criteria.
