Stupid Guest Tricks

I just wanted to introduce myself to everone who cares to know me.

I don't work at a theme park, but I do deal with stupid people everyday and have been working customer service for several years now. So I do know what you guys go through.

I will be taking my daughter who is 5 to WDW for the first time in less than one week and I promise that I have control of my daughter and she will not be: wearing heelies, sitting on ropes, chains or poles of any kind, climbing on anything that is not designated for climbing, leaving messes anywhere, yelling because she didn't get her way, or disrespecting anyone for any reason. The same thing for me. I have worked customer service in a call center for close to two years and because of this I respect everyone that works customer service of any kind. I think I'm the only who actually thanks the person at the drive thru when my order is taken. I now work as a case worker for housing assistance payments and deal with stupid people everyday who don't understand what it means when I say "don't move into that house until it has been inspected."

I appreciate everything that every CM does everyday. I know that you will help to make my trip as wonderful as Disney promises and for that I will give you the respect that you deserve. I promise.

Hug, howdy and welcome to a wonderful site where everyone at some point in time and somewhere seems to have had to deals with SGs. I cannot wait to hear all your SG stories. I feel better knowing that Wallaby and Cranbiz deal with the same driver that I used to and that I am not alone in hating little kids bouncing on the seat behind me in a restaurant.

Everyone is very nice here and nobody bites but Zazu does occassionally peck. Welcome.

Hi, I'm not a CM. I would just want to do what I do now if I worked for Disney, and it would not involve me working with the public. I don't see that dream job opening, so I read this forum and live vicariously through the CM's here. We're planning a trip to DLR with our daughter (she will be 2) this will be her 2nd trip to DLR, and we're also planning a trip to WDW around September (her first!). Hopefully I won't do anything to cause a SGT story here :)

I feel the same way. I read here because I don't want to do anything stupid when i go to the park or ask stupid questions. Like ask when the 3 o'clock parade starts. I post here because I want everyone to know that I can relate and feel their pain. I also want everyone to laugh.

Common Sense! I use it to avoid being a SG.
