Plese allow me to introduce myself

I've responded to a few posts and read quite a few more so I thought it was time to introduce myself. My name is Steve and well, I'm one of those stupid guests. I love the Disney parks and I'm an APer at D/L. I live in Sacramento and make several trips down a year. I want to start by saying thanks to all the CM's on both coasts for doing a great job.
I'm not your normal SG, I've been working with the public for about 25 years now mostly in the automotive field. I currently manage a tow company where I have worked for about 18 years and before that I worked in a couple of gas stations. I am also a student and study art/photography at American River College. I can tell you, that while many of your stories are unique to the Theme park industry, people are stupid all over. At least you get to see them while they are supposed to be in a happy time, while on vacation. If I encounter them on vacation they havent even made it to Disneyland yet. The people I deal with are pissed of because their car is broken, or they got arrested or something like that. We service AAA and I can tell you AAA members are worse than the APers, and since AAA has deals with Disney I'm sure you have encountered this also.
Some of the stories I have read about APers do piss me off so please dont lump all of us together, I would never think of doing some of the things I have read about here. (my mother raised me with some manners and I was taught the world doesnt owe me anything) I know what my AP does for me and dont expect anything more. I think I'm one of those guests/APers you all like to see. I follow directions and believe the CM, who represents Disney is the one in charge and their directions are to be followed. I say hello and smile and try to call you by your first name and I say thank you, even for something as simple as having you point me towards the exit. I never even thought of stopping at city hall and filing a complaint. I know what its like to work with the public and I know you all have a tough job and cant always be smiling and rolling out the red carpet, especially when its busy. Sometimes you just have to keep the crowds moving. I do try to stop by city hall and pass on a compliment every time I go, it always seems like I get great service but there is at least one CM that really stands out and I want Disney to know about them.
So everyone, keep up the great work, remember to stop by the parks sometime when your off work and enjoy them as they were meant to be enjoyed. I will see you all at the parks.
Thank you
Steve SG
