Is It Me Or Are They Just Getting Dumber

I have a question. Is it me, or are the guests getting dumber?
Case in point. We at monorails have rolled out a new design for the cars which can fit up to three wheelchairs in any car. This means that double wide strollers can be fit anywhere and not take up the gates that are made for the wheel chair ramps. Now granted that this modification is only being tested on monorail Lime, but it still exists
So when Mr. Dee Dee Dee with the double stroller comes up and proceedes to park himself and his family of fifty at the first wheelchair gate. So I try to explain to Mr. Jackass that Lime is next, and of the modifications, and that if he would just move down he would have no problem getting his group into the train. This is not what he wanted to here, and he calls me a lier and says that he won't move down just to make my life easer.
I just hung my head and cried for humanity. :banghead: :deadhorse

You've worked at Disney World now for how long? And that makes you qualified to know more than he because...?

Glad it wasn't me up there, I would have opened all the doors except the center car.

Mods, please combine this with my above post. Thank you.

Not much you can do with that type other than revenge. I would have either called management or let him set there then open the front gate. Let him stand there blocking the traffic and getting yelled at by an unruly mob probably would not make him budge, lol. Since he did not believe you then let him stand there and wait for the next old style monorail. Maybe he does not like new fangled easy loading monorails. Maybe he does not like lime coloured monorails like as a kid he was scared by one. lol sorry I am due for my chill pills.

It is another example of a person who knows the parks so well that when something is different or an old thing is reveal then they do not believe the person telling them this info sometimes not even management, lol.

Do not cry for the idiots of this world but cry for their poor kids who have to watch daddy be an idiot.

I forget which monorail we were on, but there were a few SG's that wheeled their double-wide stroller onto the monorail and did not fold it up. I thought they had to do that? And the CM's did not ask them to.

Am I missing something ?

On the monorail, doesn't the disembodied voice get on and say to fold the strollers or something? I remember one night I was on at closing, two strollers were parked mid-cabin, and the entire right side of the compartment was empty, and a bunch of us squished onto the left. There was all this room for more people, and I was somewhat sore about that.

I'm pretty sure that there is no voice from above stating that strollers must be folded on the monorail.

"If you are still breathing, you are not close enough." :D:

Taken from my signal 72 speil, used quite frequently at POP and the All Stars during closing.

Tuesday I rode in Lime (Express from TTC). I had a run in with a SG. I use an ECV and it was about 10:00. There was a woman with a double wide in line who was not happy when I was boarded before her. Once in, since it was not crowded, her two daughters got out of the stroller so they could look out the windows as we were running.

However, she waited until after the train had stopped and the doors opened for the kids to get back in. Then she wondered out loud why the CM did not put the ramp down for her stroller.

After I got out and thanked the CM for putting down the ramp I asked about the change to the train and was told that all are being modified. I posted information about the upcoming upgrades to the disABILITIES! Forum on DisBoards, as I see this as a great improvement.
