Stupid Guest Tricks

I was talking to a CM friend last night who works Merchandise. Among other SG antics, she had spent a good chunk of time listening to SG rants about hidden mickey pins. Near as I could decipher what she was telling me, those were originally meant to all be lanyard pins, but now you can buy some. So she gets the freaky pin fanatics ranting at her that "THOSE SHOULD NOT BE SOLD! How dare you do that! You tell management that I think it's totally wrong!" She swears the SGs think all CMs have a direct line to Iger because they are alway ranting about "Walt Disney would NEVER approve of this" or "Management should do that," like she really cares or is going to pass it on to the CEO. Good think I'm not a CM...I'd be telling 'em, "I recommend that you go find the tunnels and go tell Walt's frozen head because personally I don't give a flying fluck."

Come on Syndrome,don't you know that 'most' pin traders/APs "own" Disney and should get 'THEIR WAY' or it's the hiway??? How narrow minded can you be?

(btw,every chance I get,I tell other 'customers' to "PISS OFF" when they're giving employees a rough time.) :twisted:

Guests like that need to be told the phrase "Have a Magical day!"

As CM's we know that that phrase has sooo many meanings, just depends on the delivery.

My name is Laurie and I was a big time pin trader. I am still addicted but not to the point of standing line for 6 hours, missing meals, deciding if the water heater really needs work or should I get pins, sitting on my birthday in pouring rain, and being a coveteous greedy person who demanded pins be done in a certain way.
