Please help? Pretty Please?

Please allow me a few sentences to show how deeply I sympathize with you guys. As I am sure you know stupidity and arrogance does not start at the Disneyland gates, it is a widespread disease. In fact, whereever there are people it seems there are stupid and arrogant people. I work for Cingular selling cell phones. Normal people that I wouldn't look twice at walking down the street, come in and turn into bloodthirsty, raving lunatics. I saw a post on stupid questions. Well one high profile merger (between AT&T and Cingular) and suddenly everyone becomes a financial expert. "Is it AT&T or is it Cingular? Hahaha, cause I remeber when...." Please just be quiet and tell my what it is I can do for you. It really makes you want to be nice to your waiters, people who pump gas, anyone who works with the public on a daily basis. I refuse to be that guy who ruins someones day.

Now for the real reason of my post. My girlfriend and I are taking a trip to Disney on April 26th. I have been once before but this is entirely different. Long story short, its an anniversary and we have one day at Disney. Is it possible to make it fun and romantic? If so how? How would one of you spend a day at Disney? Any and all suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks!

1. Go to http://www.disneyland.com and look at the calendar.

It says the park is open 9 to 9 which means you will have until about 10 to leave the park on Main Street. There is a parade at 7 pm so I would make sure I was near the Matterhorn to run from there to Tomorrowland and the rest of the park. There will not be much in the Toontown area that time of night other than Small World.

2. Check for closures. The current list is:
Fantasmic! River Show
Mark Twain Riverboat
Professor Barnaby Owl
Splash Mountain
Tarzan's Treehouse
Tom Sawyer Island

3. Thursdays after the first hour are rather slow until the evening. I would get there really early and have breakfast in downtown Disney. Brennan's had good beignets. I would take the train because it is easier on the feet. Because Splash Mountain is down you can see everything in New Orleans, Fronteierland and Adventureland. Then Walk over to the Matterhorn then Fantasyland and finally Tomorrowland.

4. If you have time you can pop over to DCA.

5. I would finish the night with dinner in Downtown Disney or the Blue Bayou. I loved Brennan's Jazz Kitchen with great jazz and 3 levels of dining ranging from fast food to fine dining. Most restaurants including hotel restaurants close at 10 pm on Thursdays. In the hotel is the Napa restaurant which has great food. The steak house at the hotel also is a romantic place to eat.

Most important is to check the Disneyland site for latest info. Do not force yourself to be on a schedule. That ruins the fun and makes for SGs real fast. If you are having fun then do not run to the next show then get upset over the fussing.

Water side table at the Blue Bayou for dinner. Followed by a ride on Pirates of the Carribean. Nothing is more romantic than eating dinner by my favorite ride and then riding it...
