We went to a Rotary Club charity event last night. We went with the woman that set it all up and were seated at her table. George Kahumoku Jr., who just won his third Grammy, entertained for the first half hour and then sat at our table with his wife. Really nice guy. He brought his statuette with him and posed for pictures with it and signed CDs.
We all went through the line for dinner. When George came back he had two plates that were piled high. The locals can really put it away!
A black princess? It's about frickin' time.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.
