Stupid Guest Tricks

Hi. I'm new and just wanted to ask this question. We've printed a bunch of those little business sized cards that have Disney characters and different sayings, basically thanking CMs for going above and beyond and such. How do you really feel about those? Do people hand them out? Do they make you feel appreciated or do you just think it's another thing you have to carry around until you find a trash can.

Thanks for your honest answers. I was going to give some to my boys so they could show appreciation, also, but I'm afraid it might just be another thing that makes CMs nuts.

I know Cast Members, including myself who have been recepients of cards and short thank you notes. We have all cherished those random acts of kindness and we have saved every one of them. Believe it or not, we could be having a very unmagical day where everything could be going south. Then, a very nice guest can give us a nice card or just a simple thank you for making their day and that makes our day magical.

Don't hesitate to give those cards out and if any Cast Member, in your opinion, goes out of their way to make your day special and magical, PLEASE stop by Guest Services and let them know. It is guests like you who help make the magic for all.

Hmmm, the bubble ladies haven't been around for a while...

This is very interesting to me - - I always thought that guests were like sands in an hourglass... all the same, and the card annoying somehow. I don't know why I thought that.

I'll make sure I bring some card with me this time.... (3 days by the way!!).... I know there will be plenty of opportunity to use them!
