"Have a Magical Day" - Getting a Little Paranoid!

I know what the infamous phrase "Have a magical day" means at WDW, and now I'm getting a little paranoid in my dealings with DCL! I'm a part-time travel agent, and I've noticed that they often end the call with those words, even if I don't think I've been a SG (STA?) during the call. Is it ever used in a neutral manner? Or am I doing awful tricks that I'm not even aware of?!

LOL!! Yes, my professional mantra is: All statements are neutral until we choose what to attach to them. I need to have some self-discussion on why I am choosing fear and paranoia to something that sounds so harmless. :p:

Don't forget to charge yourself for your time. Would that be a tax write off?

I believe that most of the folks on the phone lines are pretty much required to end calls with that phrase.

I use "magical day" in most of my speils "Welcome back! When your boat stops, please disembark to your left, and have a Magical day here at the Magic Kingdom!" or "Welcome back! Please step out to your right and have a magical night". It sounds better in my area, and most of us use it there anyways. Now..."Have a Disney Day" on the other hand...

Reminds me of a bumper-sticker from years ago," Don't tell me what kind of day to have".
It does get ' kind of ' annoying though.
