Yo ho, yo ho, umm Mommy, what's wrong with that pirate?

As most of you know, Jack and I went to Disneyland yesterday. We had a marvelous time and the Christmas decor was splendid. But the most disturbing incident happened on Pirates. We were enjoying the auction scene when I said "Jack, look." The entire boat looked at the same time. The auctioneer was talking but had no head! Oh, his head was still there, dangling from a few wires and it was laying on his chest and the lips were moving as well as his body. My only lament is I did not get a picture. We (the whole boat) was in such shock that all of us just stared.
Jack and I were ready to get off the boat and let a CM know right away. But of course we couldn't and had to wait. So, we are sitting there with that image in our heads and the magic was completely gone at that point that when the second thing happened, it was anticlimactic. We get to the final scene where the pirates are shooting one another. The pirate on the right who is on another pirate's shoulders had his head falling down into his chest. You could see the gap between his neck and back. So we are REALLY ready to get off and let someone know.
When we start coming around the corner, the doors are closed so we knew a guest must have said something. But we made sure and asked if they knew about both and we were told yes. Apparently, the ride was down for the rest of the night. What was weird about that whole deal was we had just eaten dinner and were deciding whether to go on Pirates or Mansion first. If we had chosen Mansion, we would have missed the gruesome fun and not been able to go on Pirates at all that day. Strange things happen when I go to Disneyland...
