Okay... this didn't happen at work, but it is kind of related. I was
driving home and stopped at a Rite Aid to pick up a few things
because all food in my home had been consumed :P Well, I was still in
my DCA ODV costume, so before I went in I took off my name tag (I
didn't want to look too weird). I'm walking down one of the aisles
and a customer comes up to me, holds up some bandages, and starts
yelling at me. "Why don't you have any single bandages? I only need
one! I don't want to buy a whole pack of them! Go in the back and get
me some.. I know you have them, I bought some last week!" I just
stood there for a moment, and then told him "Sorry sir, I'm not
allowed in the back. Only managers can go back there.. Go ahead and
go to the front and they can help you there." And then two minutes
later, there I am standing behind him in the checkout line :) Who
knows what he was thinking.. It was fun to play along though...
I guess the giant DCA logo on my shirt looked like a Rite Aid logo to
him. :)
