Dec. 5th, 2006 -- Just before 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon four males robbed a Six Flags Magic Mountain toll booth of an undisclosed and apparently considerable amount of cash.

Reportedly, a four-door BMW drove up the booth, showed a handgun to the attendant and took all the money on-hand.

The robbers were able to get away before law enforcement arrived, thanks in-part to the easy access to Interstate 5 from Magic Mountain.
I got the story from here!

Hmm...I wonder how easy the access is to the Sea World, Knott's and Universal toll boths are from the freeways? (Who's next???) If I remember correctly from the last time I went to a concert at Universal, it's one big traffic jam there...

Wait, WTF, a BMW?!? What the hell did they need the money for, paying back college loans or drugs? Or for that kegger last weekend? There you go, hush money for whatever poor girl was drugged and taken advantage of. I mean, wow..

Sea World is freeway close & the wide road winds around to the freeway so thieves could get lost in traffic after leaving SW. Knott's is very freeway close. A robber could probably get lost in Beach Blvd traffic as it's always a mess! I've never gotten out of Universal in less than bumper to bumper 35 - 50 min. wait. Wasn't the car caught on DLR camera during our parking lot hold up a luxury car? Paying off school loans... LDC, don't give future defense attorney your brilliant ideas. ]

Well, now, it doesn't say what year the BMW is. I've seen plenty of old beater BMWs running around, so who knows.

But when I used to live in a drug-ridden, gang-infested neighborhood in the early '90's, plenty of expensive cars were seen stopping at the drug house up the block. Could have been dealers, could have been buyers, I didn't bother to ask.
