I'd Love to Know What the Bartender Said

Just got home from Disney cruise #53, and while there were many memorable SGT moments, here is my favorite (overheard by hubby on Castaway Cay, Disney's island). Mr. Syndrome was walking to the tram that takes you back to the ship, as was the apparent rocket scientist who said the following to his family:
"Wait a minute! There is no ice in my drink! I could have sworn there was ice in it when we got it at the bar. We've got to go back so I can talk to the bartender! I really thought there was ice in it....."
I guess the law of thermodynamics escaped him, i.e. walking x number of feet when the temperature is a tropical y degrees = z (accelerated melting factor). I'd love to know what the bartender said to him.

Wow, that's just... beyond stupid.
D'ya think the same guy will get to the bottom of the glass and say, "Hey, this was full when the bartender gave it to me!"???
(BTW... #53 now? Wow. So... when is DCL going to officially going to name stateroom 5650 in your honor? :) )

I just got home on the 9th from a 7 day cruise on the Magic. Just wondering if you were on the same one.

Is there by chance a ice hating wormhole between the bar and the shuttle area? Some times the time-space continuim can play havoc with 'some' peoples drinks. I have the same problem at my local watering hole, get a small pitcher of beer, next thing you know it has 'evaporated' out the hole in the top. Of course given the hot weather in Tucson,it's quite possible.

We were on the Oct. 15 4-night Wonder (first one out of dry dock).

We can't blame the heat as it happens here in Ohio as well.
