I just happened to see the new Disney commercial on ABC (big suprise there) it was one of the few commercials I have ever seen in High Def. What kinda made me laugh about it is that the it starts with a Peter Pan "Dream." The music is a direct lift from the 2003 Universal Picture "Peter Pan." Anyone find it strange that Disney couldn't find anything else to use? Just a thought.
:wwwd:

I hate to admit this, but those commercials are really good. They just tug at my mommy-heartstrings. My eyes welled up the first time I saw each of them. Uh-oh, they're doing something right...lol. If nothing else, every mom in a 1,000 mile radius who sees them is going to want to bring her little brats, uh, darlings to the Parks...

Obviously you haven't seen how the guests appreciate the Dreams theme. If you do not like it, no one is forcing you to come to the parks, If you are a CM, all I can say is deal with it.

As for the commerical and music, if it started with When you wish upon a star, it would not make you sit up and notice. I have seen the commerical at least a dozen times and it still gives me goose bumps. ;)

Now for some copying of the Disney Dream and Million Wishes....... Six flags is having a "Dream" contest and Chik-a - Fil-A is having a "Million Nugget Givaway" .............. Remember, "Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery" :D:

My take on crowds during Off Peak is - more hrs, more overtime = more $$ for me. Makes me happy. :) YMD is with us. We can only do our best & hope to understand more abt YMD. Wish it was still the 50th....I'd have a name tag. :D:

I find it no more strange than the "Back to the Future" theme played at the Disney/MGM Studios Main Gate.

Maybe I'm a sentimental sap (well, yes, ok I'm definitly one), but what I'm seeing here in FL has really made me excited about YMD. Certainly fun seeing the looks on people's faces when I congratulate them for "winning" one of the dream prizes. And the guests I've seen have been big time excited over the little things. Can't wait to see how they react when I run into one that actually gets something big.

But them I'm so sappy I cry over those commercials. Guess it's a good thing I work for the company, or I'd be going nuts trying to figure out a way to take my family to the parks for it- even more so than the 50th.
