New Nametags!

By now, most of you, cast wise, might have heard that the new celebration brings a new name tag. . .
AND WE GET OUR HOMETOWNS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Course I love how if you don't have an official town on your record, your default is Orlando. . .so I can take my town off my record, and still have it correct either way.
Hehe:
Guest: Are you really from Orlando?
Me: No not really, I was born here at Disney, it's the only way to explain why I'm here all the time. Because while I'm working, obviously I'm here, and when Im not working, IM STILL HERE AT DISNEY!

saw a few "dream squad" folks wearing the new tags today. They look pretty sharp.

What??? They don't all say "Disney Parks"??? I'm astonished.
Seriously, have they rolled out any of the generic "Disney Parks" merchandise yet?
I can't imagine anyone would want it.

Yes, they have. I just got back from my trip to WDW and they had some shirts and sweatshirts and such that said Disney Parks. Curiously it was right next to stuff with essentially the same logo that said WDW, I wonder if people will accidentally buy the Disney Parks stuff.

Interesting............ DS teams were told that we could not wear them until October 1st.

Please, the moment I get mine Im wearing it. Dont care if its in front of a manager or not.
I've suffered, like many, for 18 months without our hometowns and by thunder, IM GOING TO WEAR IT NOW!

I can't wait to wear mine... Will it have States too or just hometowns? Just curious...
