no, gum is not an acceptable form of payment!

I was at my cashwrap and a guest came up to me with a snowglobe. They took out their wallet and noticed they didn;t have enough. I recommended to him some smaller, cheaper globes but he refused and instead said: "I'll give you my number if you just let me walk off without paying for it!"
And that is the first in a long line of bartering that has been appearing in my park. I've been given offers for mountain dew, chewing gum, even a complimentary theme park ticket (to the park i get into for free anyway!) Wow! does that bug me...

I wonder if a park ticket has any resale value...

Hey, you could have offered to pay for him and taken the number, since he was such a nice guy. :cool:

Was he there with his wife? If so, was she good looking ? If so, you could have suggested something else. ;)
