Exciting News!!

Post by CujoSR » Fri Sep 08, 2006 1:18 am

Last Year CoasterRadio.com did a show dedicated to Theme Park Employees and featured SGT on the show. Last time we were able to share some stories with them. Guess what... They're doing it again!

Mike from CoasterRadio.com contacted me and he wants our best stories! So do me a favor and pick out your best stories and post links here. On the 24th Polar and I will pick our favorites and send them off to Coaster Radio. Be sure to check out the show Oct. 2nd!!

Let's hear those suggestions!!

"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"

"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."

"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

The woman that said employees should act like dogs is in the top ten.

I'd nominate the guy who threw his child like a football to the receiving mommy across the gate, and onto a moving train.
-but I'm not sure where the thread is that has that story.

Drunk chick and dog woman should be tied for first.

Night of (oh)Joy is here tonight and tomorrow, I'm sure there'll be a few good stories from that (makes up for the headaches I guess?)

As of now, I nominate anything and everything from HYS and Stupid Freaking Cheerleaders.

I liked the good guest in eCV and loved the ECV ones the best.

I'm a cast member, not a dog!

Stoller wars are always good like this one:

Stupid Freaking Cheerleaders!!!!!
main street merch

Ketchup or Diaper...

The Intermittant Parent by Zasu
good thread but what about post 8 there like that is stupid.

How about the trading card person who jumped off the train to get the cards they dropped? That was funny

My favorite of the oldies is this one about a brave little bird who saved Disneyland from exploding into flames and becoming nothing but embers.
Read it and weep, lol.

But it was on fire when I stopped the train!

OOoooohhh.... you guys have to have something from ODV!

This personal story has always stuck with me.

So let's see, 6 people were pushing a very heavy ODV cart in for maintenance towards closing time. The cart is the largest one we had -- the Cappucino cart across from Walt's statue in the MS Hub. I believe including myself, a manager, the two "tuggers" (they drive the diesel tow tractors), and the 2 cart vendors we were slowly making our way to the gate across from coke corner while shouting "Excuse us please!" and such. In front of the Kodak photo shop, we come up on a person on the bench out front with a stroller out in front of him. As we yell a bit louder to warn him, and eventually try to shout directly at him, he only barely looks at us with a "huh... wha?" look. It takes us a couple meters to drag that thing to a stop just in time.

Hehe, was nice to have a manager there. I've run over people and they just give me this "oooops, I guess he wasn't kidding" look.

THIS is my custom signature.
