Co-workers can treat you like a dog also... at least with them you can sometimes get payback.

I was working on cash register wiring underneath a counter. The technical manager was standing there assisting by handing me tools and parts.

A loudmouth cashier across the room apparently had a self-inflicted problem with her register and decided to summon us as such:

TECH!!!! TECH!!!! TEE-EE-EEE-CHHH!!! COME HERE, TECH!!

The manager and I looked at each other, shrugged and kept working. Another cashier looked over and said "I think 'Mary' needs you."

The manager replied "Perhaps, but that is not how one requests our help."

Two points for the manager.

Dog or not, if that's how she treats dogs, shouldn't PETA be notified? They'd straighten her ass out. Damn....

I once had someone use a police whistle to get my attention. I did the same thing - finished working with another person, then I went over. I explained quite bluntly that whistling at me to get me to move has the same effect as snapping one's fingers - I move that much slower. :D:

Keep her out of F-land. We hiss to each other there to get other CM's attention. She might think we're snakes and turn us into a handbag.

Surely you meant the ASPCA! PETA would set free/kill all her animals, make sure she didn't have anything using animal byproducts, or eat meat in any form. Might even blow up her house with her in it. Seriously I hate PETA.

Thank you, CujoSR! :)

My mention of PETA was more for "Ethical Treatment," but ASPCA would be a better reference in this case.

Seriously I hate PETA.

I do to. Some of the horrific comments they have made can just make you sick to your stomach.
