hi everyone! i have been lurking around SGT for a while using a different name but after i had to completely overhaul my computer (thanks viruses!) i decided to delete my old account and use the title name that i had been using for other sites (its easier to remember that way) but enough about me, on to the stupid guest!
now while im not exactly a DISNEY cast member (living in a different state may have soemthing to do with that) i have had the privilage of attending WDW over 20 times. (thats mroe visits than years that i've been alive!) i am a cast member at another park. but ill put those SGTs up later.
now in my most recent visit to WDW my only park stop was AK (rode EE in its opening week!) and as i passed through Dino-rama i came upon the games of skill.
i saw a guest (probably an AP) who happened to be in an arguement with a magnager. i slowed my pace and listened in on the conversation.
please note: this guest was 100% serious
SG: i was cheated out of a prize, that cast member should be fired
M: how did they cheat you out of a prize?
SG: the guy made me follow the RULES! :dropmouth
me and my fellow disney-philes laughed at that one

Yep, That sounds about right. Though Disney may own a large share on SGT, they are all over. Case in point. I am a photographer at Universal Studios FL and just today I got reamed by a guest who arived late to the Madagascar Character set. When the man and his eight year old were told by the escorts that the line was closed he began to scream and yell. Then as we finished the last few families that were in line, this moron pushes past an escort into the roped off area. Since he was told to leave at that point and refused, the caracters began to leave and get loaded on their transport trailer. The guy then forces his son in front of one of the panguins for a second then turnes to me for a photo ticket, which of course I didn't have due to the fact that I had already shut off my camera and replaced the lense cap. That was it, this guy blows up. At this point security had had enough and removed the guest.
But here is the kicker, If the guy had just asked nicely we would have given him the oppertunity to take a photo in front of the trailer.

You're right driverdylan. Sad to say I would have asked nicely. If I had pulled off, cool,if not,no big deal. As far as I'm concerned. I was brought up that way.HEY,there's always 'next' time.

This happens all the time with the carnival games at any park. I did a year run at Seaworld Orlando's games department and everyone accuses you/the park/the game/other people who win, of cheating.
Every imaginable excuse from "My water gun isn't as strong as it should be, so I lost!" from "My bucket of rings for the ring toss didn't have as many rings as (that person over there)!". I swear our managers had to have been saints to deal with the endless whining complains we got daily from sore losers and we where the proverbial "problem child" of guest services.
Thank GOD for the cameras we had which often proved the attack of SGT.
My favorite one I got complained of was during July 4th weekend when we're naturally packed. Some family complained they "Had to wait for their bucket of rings for the ring toss and someone else won the only prize that day, which they would now never win, because I was 'ignoring them and helping those other people'. My manager and I scanned threw the tape of that one, said family wasn't even AT the Ring Toss during the time the two wins of that day (only one of which was while I was stationed there!).
Cause you know, those games people decide if your going to win or not.
