...I didn't know what else to say! Earlier this week, my friend and I were heading into Haunted Mansion, and a couple with a little boy overheard us talking and asked if we had ridden it before. When we answered in the affirmative, they asked if it might be too scary for their little guy. He looked like he'd probably be able to handle it; in trying to think how to describe it, I blurted out, "Really, it's more cute than scary." The words left my mouth just as we passed one of the butlers. In perfect character, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Cute?" in the most withering tone! My friend was absolutely cracking up, and I (for once) was speechless. She ribbed me about it for the rest of the day...it was one of those moments where you just had to be there. ;)
(And I think the little boy did okay...he didn't freak in the stretching room, and I didn't hear any screams on the ride. I did, however, hear a person next to us who was obviously well versed in Disney trivia
