Evacuated off Pirates!

The SeaWorld Posse were in Pirates when it went 101! Our boat stopped in the treasure scene. Believe me, we were looking for hidden Mickey's but couldn't find any! Ha. Yes they tried to restart the ride several times and when they turned on the worklights I knew we were walking out. Like us or not, we were the boat that started the wave. We also passed time playing telephone. It really didn't not seem like we were down there for over an hour! Anyway, we eventually got out at the exit (right before the Davey Jones effect) and up the stairs we went. We ended up in a hallway filled with lockers and food service equipment. As it turns out, we were at the Westside Diner location! Since we all work at SeaWorld, we were stoked to see their lounge! We were impressed at the neon lighting in there and their Cast TV. The security guard did tell us we were better off eating in the park though! ;-)
Luckily nobody that was in the boat in front of or behind us appeared to be in any 'pain' other than being inconvenienced for such a long time. But then it started to get ugly... as we were in our boat I was wondering how they would evac people that were in wheelchairs and how they would be able to go up stairs... well, a guest that was two boats ahead of us was able to walk but she threw a world-class fit. Understandable to a point, but don't yell at Cast Members that have absolutely no control over what's going on. The Cast going about their business backstage were just as surprised to see us trying to get out as we were backstage! She lost my sympathy when she told a Cast Member to "s*rew you." How magical!
Let me tell you, backstage was a mess! Boxes stacked everywhere, food cartons on the floor... if the owner of our theme park saw any of that in our backstage areas he would have one gynormous fit! No joke at all.
So we finally exit near the restrooms in New Orleans Square. For our time we were given front of the line passes. To every Cast Member we passed by helping us out, we thanked them. Very, very memorable journey. But the tale does have a happy ending. Just a mere 10 minutes before park closing, the ride was up again and we took the trip to meet salty ol' pirates!
My question is, if the lines remain like they are, what is going to happen when Fantasmic is thrown into the mix??? Yikes!!
