Party Gras Pictures?

My roommate has been going crazy trying to find proof that there were real armadillos parading down Main Street during the Party Gras Parade.
Do any of you fine people have photographic evidence proving this event happened or didn't?

I think your roomie may have been confused about the Royal Order of Armadillos, which was an Atmoshpere Entertainment group that was around for the beginning of the 35th anniversary year. If I remember correctly, there were about 5 or 6 guys, and they towed around a stuffed armadillo (one that had been subject to taxidermy - not a plush) on wheels. They wore armadillos on their heads. They used to perform for the guests on Main Street before parades and I think they sometimes ventured out into the areas. They were pretty funny - there was a stand-up comedian named Joe working with them, but I think they let the group go because of budget cuts (they were giving away a car a day for the promotion then, so I think they decided to put most of the marketing money elsewhere than entertainment), and they kept Joe on, so he was entertaining in the queues, like at Jungle.
My husband was a dancer in the Party Gras parade/show - AHA!!! He just came home for lunch, I asked him and he said absolutely not. No live armadillos.
Where do these rumors come from???

O.K. You can't call me crazy now - I knew I still had this floating around somewhere. This was the card that the Armadillos would hand out to guests, as well as handing out beads. It was cornball but fun...

thank you, bird mom...
my roommate will be happy to know that she's not crazy (even if she was a little confused on the details)
