I also know Universal must be hurting they send out cards for a free* 1 day hopper visit or deeply discounted 1 day tickets for up to 6 friends in a mailer.
Numbers must be low.
*Taxes and Parking not included

Disney lowering admission prices would surely be the seventh sign of the apocalypse.

I heard that the amusement parks are lowering ticket prices due to the high cost of gas.

Amusement parks and Wal-Mart are in the same boat, cost of gas wise.

Cedar Fair, which owns Cedar Point, Knotts, etc just bought Kings Dominion in Richmond.
As with most parks, a single day admission is the highest admission amount. However, the multi-day/park admissions are generally the cheapest.
From what I have read, Cedar Fair is planning to come up with a multi-park admission schedule for all of their theme parks.
