Congrats! Now you need to bill yourself for $200k and settle for like $50k from the insurance company :D:

Oh, I'll get the cause diagnosed by a doctor eventually. I just know what at least seems to trigger and prevent my migraines and try to avoid the triggers while not avoiding the preventions (not that hard usually as they are opposite things).

Attraction X is short staffed to begin with. "CM Y" puts in for an ER at 14:00, is denied, because attraction is short staffed. All of a sudden, Y isn't feeling well, and "needs an ROS by 14:00". Management reminds CM that an ROS is not automatic, and that if she's not feeling well, they'd be happy to call an Alpha for her. Y declines.

At roughly 13:10, coordinator "C" receives a radio call, asking him to please telephone the Attraction X breakroom for an "emergency" situation. He calls, and speaks to Y, who still wants to go home and is unhappy that management won't let her leave. I was standing next to C at the time, and his part of the conversation included the phrase "There will be repercussions if you do that"

C and I return to our office to eat. We're interrupted by a phone call from the cast at Attraction X, who say that Y has not bumped into rotation, and that one CM thinks they saw Y leaving. C races over to the breakroom (abandoning his lunch) only to find no trace of Y, except for a note that she has left, apparently saying something along the lines of she likes her job and doesn't want to get fired.

Next day, Y shows up for work ... and leaves about half an hour later, with a management escort.
Ok, this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard... If it's that bad, why didn't she just ask for a Personal Release? I mean sure she'd get a couple points for it, but at least she wouldn't have gotten fired.

I don't blame you... that reminds me of something that really boggled my mind a few weeks ago.

Apparently there was some sort of altercation between a SG and a CM, and the SG ran Backstage to "avoid detection" when the cops were called...

I mean seriously, if an SG wants to blend in, the last place s/he should be going is Backstage... that's the one place they're going to stick out worse than a sore thumb.

I have a good CM firing story. There was this one CPer, who was an older gentleman from Italy. I believe he was in his 30's. He got into trouble a couple of times, mainly because when he would ask guests which version of M:S they wanted to go on, he wouldn't say "more intense or less intense" or "spinning or non spinning". He'd say "do you want to have fun, or do you want to sleep?" He was reported, and got mad at the woman who reported him, who was an amazing woman who took guest safety very seriously. The end came when he brought guests, a father and son, into an orange/more intense bay, and tried to stick them on an empty team, without watching the preshow, because, if I'm remembering correctly, they went on the wrong side, and wanted the more intense. The usual procedure for that is to give them re-ads, so they can go get orange tickets and go through the fast pass line. Well, the same woman as before was in the bay that he tried to put them in. She refused to let them on, offering them re-ads, and the guy proceeded to start yelling her her, calling her a bitch, and all kinds of names, in front of guests. You can bet that he was escorted out of there in no time.

I have a GREAT CM term story. There was a CM that we ALL didn't like. This person had consistent safety violations. He also had a bad case of "gatekeeper's syndrome". He got power hungry and tried to tell guest what to do. He even made a MAW family cry when he told them they had to take their stroller-like wheelchair outside. He would grab food or drink out of people's hands when they came to merge. He took a stroller away from a woman, with her child still in it! He dispatched Image trains with doors open and just let them shut themselves instead of taking the time to shut them himself. We all wondered what it was going to take to get this guy termed because he was terrible! He station stopped every 5 seconds. Well one day he was working at Image and someone jumped out and he got a pressure mat intrusion. That kind of intrusion causes an automatic ride stop or "soft shutdown". Instead of sending a runner to investigate he clears the intrusion and starts the ride up again! He got termed for a blatant safety violation.
FWW is a better place now.

When I read "older gentleman from Italy" I was picturing maybe Robert Loggia or Tony Bennett; then I read the next sentence. I'm telling myself, "they meant older for a CP." I hope.

That was my question too, but eve more so, is there an upper age limit for the program? I have seen a lot of "mature" students going back to get their degree(s) on campus, and have even had a few in my class.

I've heard of people doing the CP in their 60's, and some CPs told me they had some older CPs in their apartment complex.
