Stupid Guest Tricks

OK, my last trip to WDW yielded comic gold. I can't put this on G-rated forums, so this is probably the first you've heard of it.

I was going into The Land in Epcot, my very favorite park save for Disney-MGM Studios, and I wasn't paying much attention. Luckily, my mother was. She overheard this lady talking about Epcot and she mentioned that over at the Imagination Pavilion you could see "Ellen Degenerate" (aka Ellen Degeneres). I don't know where she got the misinformation, but you actually can see Ms. Degeneres over at Universe of Energy. But the comic gold was she was ABSOLUTELY serious, straight face and all! She wasn't making a joke or anything. Guess idiots like her are all too common at the parks.

Courious.....with Monday, May 1 being the "Great American Boycott", was attendance at the parks lighter than usual for a Monday?

Oh man, friggin hell! May 1st AND 2nd we had that over at my park. NOBODY understood "buckle your seatbelt" or "dont touch your lapbar." Hand motions worked for the most part, but NO hand motion in the world worked for "keep your feet flat on the floor."

And I really felt stupid spieling in english when I knew not one of them understood what I was saying on the pre-launch spiel.

Yes, it's like all those Americans that visit Belgium/ the Netherlands/ France/ ... and don't speak anything else than English, and they also expect everyone else to speak English...
