Does anyone have any good stories of celebs in the parks, good, bad, or just an exciting sighting? I had one on my Safari today. His name is Kevin something.. he was in the whole nine yards (yanni gogolac), and hostage (rich dad guy) with bruce willis.
anyways, we got to the poachers scene and the shots rang out, and he went "ah! i've been shot!" and then we went by their camp, and he was like "um.. i'm still bleeding." then i was like yay we saved little red.. and he's like "losing.. blood.." then i thanked everyone for their help and said the wardens post was coming up blah blah short walk to harambe and he asked "..and where's the nearest hospital..?" it doesn't sound that funny, but i had to try really hard not to laugh.
ps - i say like a lot

When we opened DAK, I saw tons of celebs (Drew Carrey, Mimi, Regis (mean ahole), Kathy Lee (ugh), Leonardo DiCaprio, and a few more), plus over 10 years I have seen alot more. But my two favorite were Felicia Rashaad, she hung out with the CMs opening that day at CTX, we gave her tours, talked to her, played with her son, and she even took pictures with us for our area newsletter, she was so sweet and nice. My most incredible experience is when I worked at Fantasia Gardens (mini golf at WDW) and wallked into work and saw a limo parked out front, I came up just in time for Roy Disney and his wife to come off the course. Talk about going into starstruck mode, I could barely talk when he shook my hand and started talking to me....I was at a loss for words. My two co-workers had to tell him what a big fan I was of the Disneys, so he and his wife stayed for an hour talking to all of us, like real people not grunts, they were so funny and nice.
(it was during the Eisner Battle and Roy wanted to play another round and his wife said "Like hell you will, its too hot and your not going to have a heart attack and leave that A**hole in charge!" (she referred to the Eisners solely as that A**hole and that B**ch, it was great!)) I told everyone that to me it was as special as if I had met the royal family of England. I had a personal high for months. It was truly the most memorable moment in my life and nothing will ever top it Celebrity wise.

In 25 visits to the parks in Orlando over 15-16 years, I've had some pretty cool celebrity encounters. All on the same day. I was in the Studios on the 100th anniversary of Walt's B-Day (12/5/01) and, what do you know? They were filming Good Morning America and Live With Regis and Kelly in said park that day. As we were walking down Hollywood Blvd., a CM stopped my dad, brother, and me and asked us if we wanted to be on Good Morning America. Obvious answer. Because her show was also filming at the park, Kelly Ripa was on GMA for a short period of time. And standing in the crowd, I managed to wedge myself between Kelly and the weatherman from GMA, the name of whom I can not at the moment remember. Turns out, I was blocking the cameraman somehow, and he asked me to move. Weatherman took notice of this and brought me in between him and Kelly, in front. So, I was on nationally television and got a Mouse ears hat from Kelly Ripa. Her head, not surprisingly, is considerably smaller than mine. Following that, coming out of WWtbaM?Pi! we saw...Mickey Rooney! He was walking in front of us and headed backstage between the show buildings for Millionaire and One Man's Dream. And we passed the set for Regis and Kelly, where we saw both. Overall, good day.

I saw many celebrities while working in the park, but never really interacted with them. I don't really get star struck. I am used to it, they are just like everyday guests. Either we treat the celebs like everyday guests are treat all guests like V.I.P.

I was hoping to see Patrick Warburton during the monster's inc preview.. never happened. We thought it was funny though because of the 5 of us who were working the event that day, the two of us girls wanted to see him and were all excited.. but the 3 guys (all in their early 20s) had no clue who he was. My boyfriend like to think of this as sacreligious. :)
(if you don't know who he is.. he is in a lot of things.. most know now for being the Tick in the Tv show.. and for adult swim fans the voice of brock samson on venture bros and Joe on family guy..)
