The end of joy!

Is anyone else glad night's of joy is over?

I was pulled over to crowd control for the concerts in tomorrowland, and i have never delt with crazier guests. There were way too many HYS moments, and guests that had me ready to snap. Now I'm happy for the few weeks of calm we have before halloween. :o:

I think the only thing worse than Night of Joy (which may I add I have met the nastiest, foulest mouthed, rude asses at. Christians my butt!)
would have to be SUPER SOAP WEEKEND @ D/MGM Studios. Im sure most peopole who have worked that event have stories to make your hair curl!

I think both events are the absolute worse. I remember my first Night of Joy, it was so loud in Space Mountain that we wore earplugs in the tower, which isn't a very good thing because these crowds were louder than the breakdown alarm. Super Soap doesn't affect the rides as much, but it's just crowded in the park. With too many ECV's in the park. I also hate it when these soap fans come up to you and ask where . . . insert soap charater's name. . . is? Then they go and get offended when you don't know a thing about the soap operas.

I actually wanted to extend my shift at Space Mt. for NOJ. The managers wanted everybody to extend for it, but when it came down to the wire they didn't. My extension request on CDS remained as "pending" the whole day. I guess in hindsight it sounded like it was a good idea to extend, financial-wise. Now I don't mind not working NOJ. I deal with enough large groups of dumbass everyday, why at night too?? :p:

Yeah, but you had the choice to work that night. I didn't, and it was crazy, but then again, space is probally more fun than buzz.

Yea I did have a choice. :) Space is waaay more fun!! ;) More consistent for what postions you go to. 6 attractions compared to 1 of course.
