Well, I had to work, but at least the daycare kids were at California Adventure for the day, so I was all by my lonesome. The week before they were at DLR. Evidently they got Park Hopper tickets, because on their activity schedule the price for DLR was there, then for CA Adventure it was marked as free, with an asterisk indicating "with pass from DLR".


Oh, I have an announcement! Two days before my birthday, I was on my way home when I got a text from my roomies saying they had a surprise. WE HAZ A KITTEH!!!!! The week before, they got a pet rat named Chestnut, with our landlady's approval, and then they were out and found this little kitten eating an ant-covered piece of pizza crust at the bus stop. She appeared healthy, was friendly and highly sociable, so they brought her home. Her name's Gidget. As soon as I figure out how to make a video and send it with my netbook's CrystalEye camera, I'll share. Pleaz to nawt crash teh site! (LolSpeak)

Gidget is a total ball of energy. You should see what she's done to my hands. Shredded, just totally shredded! Last night one of my roomies took a couple of pictures of her with her camera phone; I'll see if I can get her to email them to me, then hopefully I can put them on here for everyone to enjoy.
