Directions?

Why do people ask directions and then turn to leave when you're only directed them about halfway there? I think from now on, as soon as someone turns, I'm just going to stop speaking. If they can't find where they're going after that, then it's their own damned problem.

lol, i know what you mean because i also get that a lot. when they turn around, i'm tempted to yell out, "considering you didn't know how to get there to begin with, good luck finding it from the halfway point!"

what does it matter, they're just going to get mad, either because it's too far away, or because they didn't have complete directions.

ha ha. so i was on the parade route (the fantasy land part - by small world), just wandering around being helpful...
and this lady asks me where she can rent a wheelchair.
when i directed her to the main entrance, she got all huffy and said "that far?!"
she walked away a few steps, and then asked me if she needed an ID or any money to rent one. i replied with "i'm not sure, but probably. why? do you not have one?"
she looked at me all disgustedly and said (with a wave of her hand), "no, i don't have one... and, whatever, i'm not walking that far anyway."
i turned to some other guests... and, about 30 seconds later, my little wheelchair friend tapped me on the shoulder and asked, "how to i get to splash mountain?"
(p.s. splash mountain is about the farthest place you could ask to go from small world.)

pooh corner is farther, you should have directed her to get on the train to the 7th stop and to go past the haunted mansion. and it'll be on her right, near downstairs near the canoes.
