Stupid Guest Tricks

Well kids it's been fun, but tomorrow is my last day working at the hotel, I gave them just over 24 hours notice.

The new job starts on Thursday and makes almost double, I'll of course keep up here as I have many stories that I didn't feel comfortable sharing while working there.

and for the record I do feel bad about giving such short notice, but as any manager would tell you, look out for #1. (of course they wouldn't tell you that if the company isn't #1)

Good move. You always want to leave on your terms instead of the companies. It used to be best to give two weeks notice but with most companies employing people "at will”, it boils down to what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Thanks Hobie! And I agree with you about the whole equal opprotunity termination (not to mention the fact that every 8 hours I work there is $65 less than I'd be making at the new place.)

And for those interested, I'll be doing cost projections for housing development projects, doesn't that sound exciting? I actually met the team I'll be working with today and they're all shiny happy people.
