hey guys, well i just signed up to take the test for my language pin. i turned in my form to the team center and they said that someone would call me in a couple weeks to set up an appointment. i was just wondering what the test was like?? for anyone that currently has a language pin, what was the test like and what language did you take it in?? are they all the same format for every language? is it written? oral? formal? casual? what questions did they ask? and do you find out then and there if you get your language pin? i was just wondering... thanks :)

Wish I could help you but since Spanish (the flag on my nametage) is my native language I didn't have to take the test. But from what I was told I think the test is oral.

It sounds like it's different process at DLR - at WDW, you can take the test over the phone in matter of 10-15 minutes. I had to orally translate English-Spanish/Spanish-English and answer some basic questions in Spanish after having been asked them in Spanish. I was told right away that I had passed. They then mailed me my new nametag with pin to my work area about 2-3 weeks later.

Good luck on your test!

An amazing CM in H TOT uses ASL & has an ASL pin. She's ALWAYS helping us out all over DCA. Not many ASL pins around, or maybe I simply don't see them.

I took the test by phone I called a number at Epcot and they transferrred me to a person who spoke spanish . All i had to do was answer a few questions of what my name was and where i worked , what my role was and who were my leaders.
