On the first day of spring break, a dumb guest said to me...
"Where's downstairs?"
Um...it's below upstairs...
On the second day of spring break, a dumb guest said to me...
"I'm waiting to speak to the manager about this line."
OK sir, let me explain this to you...it's spring break...the park is crowded...meaning full of people...and they all want food too. Why don't you go complain to the manager on Splash Mountain about their line, which I can gurantee is at least 5 times longer than ours.
On the third day of spring break, a dumb guest said to me...
"That guy is 2 numbers after me and he got his food first!"
That guy had a salad and 2 drinks, and you had a full order. Idiot.
On the fourth day of spring break, a dumb guest said to me...
(As I look for their drink) "Don't I get a soda with this?"
No, I'm staring at these drinks like this because I think they hold the answer to life the universe and everything.
On the fifth day of spring break, a dumb guest said to me...
"Can I have some ketchup?"
It's to your right. (Like I just told you. Complete with two-fingered point, because at this point I cannot be sure whether you posess the intelligence necessary to grasp the English language.)
"Oh. Can I have some ranch?"
Sure. *I go get ranch*
"Can I have some barbecue sauce?"
Sure. *I go get bbq sauce*
"Can I have a fork?"
That's also to your right. *I repeat gesture*
"Oh. Can I have a knife?"
Sure! *I get a knife*
"Can I..."

^ Arthur and Ford pulled random letters out of a scrabble bag and got "What do you get if you mulitply six times eight?" (or was it seven times eight) anyway it wasn't something at equaled 42.

All right, I'm not LegoDan but I just finished the books, literally 2 days ago (the movie's coming out, I had to reread it) and I looked it up just to be sure.
It's in the next to the last chapter of the Restaurant at the End of the Universe and the letters spelled "What do you get when you multiply six by nine"
It has been determined by fans that six times nine in base 13 is 42.
