An interesting story from the Pirate ride...

This didn't happen to me, but it happened to a co-worker of mine last night. He was at the Stager position at Pirates, the cast member who loads guests with disabilities and wheelchairs from the backdoor line. The regular line was very short, which meant that we could give a backdoor group their own boat. But in order to establish a balanced boat, guests with their own boat need to be grouped into the center rows of the boat.
A group of eight came up the backdoor line, and because the boats have six rows and can fit four to any middle row, the cast member grouped them into rows three and four. When the cast member was moving their wheelchair, the group of eight decided to sit in the front rows. This sort of thing always happens, but unfortunatly we cannot have guests in the front of the boat and not in the back because the boats may get stuck when either leaving the station or at the drops due to unbalancing.
So the cast member tells them, "I'm sorry we cannot have all of you in the front rows."
One of their group members reply, "You told us three and four."
The cast member says, "I did. But you are sitting in rows one and two."
The same man in their group replies, "Oh we thought this was where we sit because there are three of us in the front and the boat has a number '4' on it."
