A friend on mine sent this too me and i thought that everyone here would like it.
As you know, Disney loves to "sugarcoat" anything and everything it says to the public, and therefore they >>encourage us as Cast Members to do the same when we speak to park guests. >>Here are some "Disney Cast Member Lingo" and its their unofficial "translations"
1. "We are experiencing technical difficulties."
Translation- Something bad just happend.
2. "At this, we will ned to evacuate the line."
Translation- Something really bad just happend.
3. "We should be operating again in about an hour."
Translation- I have no idea how long it will be.
4. "Thank you."
Translation- Go away.
5. "How many in your party?"
Translation- Are THEY with you?
6. "These 3-D glasses will imapir your normal vision."
Translation- They look goofy if you wear them outside, and we get in trouble if anyone sees you with them.
7. "Excuse us please."
Translation- If you don't move, a 1 ton cart will run you over.
8. "No flash photography please."
Translation- It's not worth taking pictures of.
9. "Rows 1 and 2."
Translation- Go stand over there.
10. "We will have to hold our position here for a few minutes."
Translation- The tram/boat in front of ours is on fire and if we move forward, we will be too.
11. "Everything is fine. There is nothing to worry about."
Translation- Everything is not fine. There is plenty to worry about.
12. "This is a walkway only. I need you to keep moving."
Translation- Move it before I beat you with my flashlight.
13. "I need you to step out of the planter, please."
Translation- What the $&@* are you doing in there?!?!
14. "Yes, I do work here."
Translation- What tipped you off genius? The nametag or the dorky costume?
15. "No, I am sorry, the Tasmanian Devil is not a Disney character and therefore is not available for pictures in our park."
Translation- You're a @&%$#^! idiot.
16. "I'm sorry this attraction did not meet your expectations."
Translation- Bite me.
17. "My thats an...intersting shirt."
Translation- How did security let you through the gate wearing that filth?
18. "Please remain calm."
Translation- It's time to panic. You are all going to die.
19. "The nearest restrooms are right there."
Translation- See that big sign right in front of your face that says RESTROOMS in bold letters? It's right under that.
20. "The attraction is not open yet."
Translation- What did you think all those green and blue construction walls were up for? Decoration?
21. "I'm very sorry, but because your child does not meet the height requirement for this attaction, it would be unsafe for him to ride."
Translation- As much as would like to see your little brat paralyzed, I would get in trouble if it happend. Now go bother somebody else!!!!
hope you guys like these. i thought they were funny.
