I asked for Florida ID and the older woman showed me her license. So I activated the reservation. As normal, the printer did Exchange Certificates and not live tickets, as demographic data still had to be entered.

I asked the woman if everyone had the same address as hers, and she said yes. I then asked for the names and dates of birth of each Guest as I needed the demographic data. Once she was done I asked for the photo IDs of all the people 18 or older. They all had Texas Driver's Licenses.

At that point I told them that the difference in price for each ticket was about $120 as they were not eligible for Resident tickets. I was backed up by my coordinator as well as the manager. At the end, the manager threatened to call Security unless the woman calmed down. And, of course, we would not do any refund.
Just a question off topic.
We could buy the "pay seven get 14 days" admission tickets from the UK side for Europeans ( so this are legit tickets).
If we would buy hem could we use seven days and than pat to get the "non expiration" option for the remaining seven days?

Mr. D. wrote: Also wanted to note that the circus that came to the area (not big like Ringling Bros) should adjust some for the area market they are in. Meaning if they went to Orlando where there are $1.25 can sodas in the machines, then charge that higher price. But in areas where machines are $.75 lower the price. Maybe $1.00.

No one is talking about prices of bottled sodas. :p:
Wow not as big as the Ringling Circus?
You are or living in the past ages ago or just making things up. We visited the Ringling Museum.
They are a relic from the past ans surely can or will not visit your town ever again.

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus is pretty much the (if not the) last of the big circuses. They're no relic of the past, they're still touring the country with three shows, one by trucks the other two by trains.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

This thread has undoubtedly become one of the most nasty and totally irrelevant one that I have ever witnessed here on SGT. It looks and feels just like a Brand X area.

Personally I couldn't care less what Mr. D does or doesn't do, what he gets away with or doesn't. Nothing about this thread has been humorous or even enlightening. It sounds like a bunch of school kids arguing on the play ground.

I know I don't have to read it but it is hard to turn away from a train wreck. I just wanted to express my opinion. I did get involved with it at some point along the line but that was before I realized that I was just beating my head against a wall of unrealistic expectations.

I agree, although it is a little more humorous than most of the Board X debates.

I always saw Board X "debates" as the best way to break the rules, not the fact that it is wrong.

Ringling Bros still tours every year. Their circus train(s) are still located in their home base in Tampa, FL. (They are there right now for winter season and training). They are the biggest circus left in the U.S.

When I said the circus that came here was not as big as them I was meaning that one could say Ringling is the "Disney" of all circus's.

Check You Tube for videos of the trains if you care to. :)

P.S. Yes I like to live in the past ages ago. :D
