Awesome! I love when guests say what we can't say. People do that to me too. "I could buy 6 of these for 6 bucks at 7/11." I just stare at them wishing I could say: "No shit, dude. I don't control the prices and I don't make commission. So buy one or don't. I truly don't care."

I don't know if this was already said but, I hate when guests ask questions then leave. Ex:
Guest: "Excuse me where is Indiana Jones?"
Me: "turn right..." and guest walks off.
I sure hope they know where to go after turning right in front of the castle. I never understand when people ask questions then leave you in mid sentence.

Then there was today when a guest asked how to make a complaint about another guest. YA, another guest! It was a good laugh because my lead basically made her think we were actually getting security to "watch" this poor family.

^yeah that or when they ask you where something is, the whole family is there, you finish your answer, then they head the opposite direction.

Anybody working in Tower might be able to relate, but the top two there:
-Where do we pick up the photos?
..."Pitcure if you will" is right in front of their face...
or
-What happened to our picture?
...it was the one dropped because some wise...arse...decided to flip off the camera, flash it, stand up, make an obscene gesture, or consume something. You can decided which among those options it was, and enjoy the rest of your stay.

But the best one was when I told the price of one of the disposable cameras to a guest and they looked at me for like...ten seconds, just gaping before, "You mean in dollars?" *smack* I told one of my CM's later, and they said I should have used, "No, we here at the resort operate in Yen." It works with any currency really, outside the Peso or Canadian Dollar...they're too close.

I work at a Target and our guests do this too, I find it very annoying. Of course when they turn away I stop giving the directions so hopefully they figure it out or not lol.

me: OK, first go up these stairs, go straight ahead past pirates, you'll see Splash Mountain, take a right by Pecos Bill's Cafe, Head towards Liberty Square, when you get to Diamond Horshoe Revue turn right, go through the breezeway and you be in Adventureland, the Swiss Family treehouse is right in front of you and hang a right, you'll see a ramp to your left head down towards the building by the river, and you'll be at Jungle Cruise :D: "
guest: "thanks, was that so hard! "
Guest and party walking away:"....anoying know it all smart asses  "

Oh my gosh...it finally happened today. I know this is a kind of variation on the theme of "Do you work here," but I was working jewelry in Greetings tonight and this guest comes up to me. She looks straight at my name tag and asks, "Excuse me, Carrie, do you work here?" I was gobsmacked. I wanted to slap that lady.

at indy,

g is it really only 15 minutes?
me no, it's closer to three hours, i just felt like seeing how many people i could cram into the line.

when there was no line. so we posted at 15 because it's a long walk.

how long is the line?

how long does it take you to walk a quater mile?

huh?

it's about a quarter mile to the tour location, on average it takes about 15 minutes.

right this way please.
