You need to remember to think of the character in that kind of situation. It would also work to come up with tour guide reasons for the tour guide to use while staying in character, like it will fade the colors or something, it doesn't have to be true or even make sense. Also, it wouldn't be out of character for a bandit to take a flashing camera.
We tell guests that the pirates confuse the camera flash for cannon fire and they will try to fire back.

Now if only Imagineering could turn that into reality (with real cannonballs).....

Now, now, we don't really want to kill the SGs. Too much paperwork. However, perhaps a quick blast of compressed air directed at the light source?

Don't be silly, one of the cannonballs might miss and break something...

That's 'perfect' hobie. Now just make it target specific.

Eh, the only problem I can see is that you just know one of the SGs would then complain how their clothes and/or hair are now just ruined and start demanding they get compensation....

Unless they've changed the recipe since the 80s, the green slime is just cold oatmeal, green food color and corn syrup. Shouldn't really get into trouble unless someone's diabetic and gets it in their mouth....

You and I both know that stuff is designed to come out easily. However, an SG will not let a little thing like reality get in the way of being able to complain. Their clothes are of a special fabric that is both expensive and can stain just from being exposed to anything less than filtered air and imported bottled water, after all.

Oh, yeah, that's right--reality doesn't exist for SGs. Silly me.
