Dammit, why hasn't he f/u w/ his PMD? Call Pharm for his Rx. Who is his CG, I need to find out his DNR status.
Woo hoo, you go Disneymom.
Now, I don't mean to toot my own horn. . .but since the issue of brains has come up, I feel compelled to tell ya'll I'm not as dumb as I look LOL.
I may not qualify for Mensa- especially not anymore since the stroke messed with my brain- but I did test out of high school at the age of thirteen and when the results of the psycho-analytical battery and IQ tests came in, my 'mental age' at the time was calculated and I was '
older' than both of my parents at the time (a fact they kept from me for years LOL)
I was courted by several universities for admission before my 14th b-day. My parents, sadly, did not want me to go to college (long story) and when you're that young, there's nothing you can do about it when they set the rule of law for the house.
I could have been a doctor by the age of twenty-two! Doogette Howser LOL.
Anyhoo.
I have held various jobs in my working life before disability forced me into VERY early retirement, but I'll tell you that nothing matched the pride I felt when I was working for the Disney Company. It's the only job I have ever missed after leaving it (for health reasons) and aside from pursuing that theater career I always dreamed of, it's the only one I wish I could return to.
And while this isn't as exciting as what Disneymom posted (Sadly with respiratory problems I understood a good portion of her post! LOL) Here's something to wrap your brain around. Ever design a pattern that reads like this?
Rnd 4. Ch 3, dc in same st. *1 dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in following st.*
repeat around, join with sl st.
Rnd 5. Ch 3, dc in same st. * 1 dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in following st. *
repeat around, join with sl st.
Rnd 6. Ch 3, dc in same st. * 1 dc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in following st. *
repeat around, join with sl. st.
Rnd 7. Ch 3, dc in same st. Work 1 dc into each st around, (still working in F.L.O. as in above rounds 2-6). Join with sl. st.
Rnd 8. Repeat Rnd 7
Rnd 9. Ch 2, dc in same st. *1 dc in next 3 sts in BLO,
decrease. * Repeat around, join with sl st.
Rnd 10. Chain 2, dc in same st. * 1 dc in next 4 sts, in B.L.O. still.
Decrease. * Repeat around, join with sl st.
Rnd 11. Chain 3, dc in same st. dc in each st around, still in B.L.O. join.
that's part of a pattern I designed a few years back. Not rocket science but it's a language of its own.
Okay, I'm done now :) LOL Everybody else was having their say and I felt left out LOL
