Great caption, Hobie...
Back to the trip...As I said we had purchased some goodies from Candy Palace when I saw HIM! He was working behind the counter and I could not believe my eyes. It couldn;t be...he was dead! I asked him to pose for a picture with me and he so graciously posed for a couple. Do you see who I see?
Wow! The spirit of Walt really DOES live on in Disneyland. This CM's name is Don and he is the spitting image of Walt! It is amazing how much he resembles Walt and I just had to have a picture taken with him! Do you see the resemblance?
He made my day. It was as if Walt was standing right there, in front of us! Incredible!
After we left the Candy Palace it was getting to be late afternoon and we headed back to the Hotel for a nap. We were tired and needed a little rest. And that was it for me for the day. It was about 4PM by then and I fell fast asleep for the rest of the night! I slept until 5AM the next morning!

Randy B wrote:I saw one suggestion along the lines of your Tee idea. Instead of wearing the tee carry it folded and pinned around a stiff piece of cardboard or artist board (the foam core stuff). This way the character has a solid surface to write on, and if the marker bleeds through you don't end up with "tatoos" on your back.
Excellent idea, especially as characters are not permitted to sign anything while it's being worn.
And instead of cardboard, pull up one of the corrugated plastic ad signs that crop up at busy intersections, and cut to fit. Being plastic, they're waterproof, and harder to crush as well.
Don't think of it as stealing their signs. Since it's illegal to post them, you're really just picking up litter!

And political signs are especially valuable for this purpose. :D:
