Depends on where you live, and how you were taught to pronounce the word.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

Oh who am I kidding? I steal most of them, modify or resize almost all of those, and a few I farm out to a very creative former lurker with too much time on his hands.

On my first Disney cruise, our wonderful Croatian server had my family (from Texas) seated at one table and another family, from Alabama, seated at another. He thought he'd take the opportunity to settle once and for all the proper pronunciation of the word "pecan." Sadly, the Alabama table said it was pronounced PEE-can (which sounds to me like, well, exactly what it sounds like), while we told him peh-KAHN, the correct, God- and Texas-approved pronunciation. Poor guy was still confused, though.

They remind me of the Marshall's store advertisement where the lady is banging on the glass "open open open open".

I have seen people trying to get into stores from other doors. If you cannot get in from the south door then try the north doors as maybe a CM will let you in. There are the lies about family in the store, returning stuff they bought, and just a quick peak, please.

I would love to be in the park when they drain a ride. Yeah, they are going to use skateboards on Spash Mountain. Some guests would believe that.

Does anyone else hear guests who get mad because on THEIR vacation the park closed their favorite rides. It almost sounds like there is an evil plot against them whereby road blocks are thrown in front of them. It is like somebody in Disney hates them and on purpose closes the shops early. I am sorry but when wind gusts hit 45 mph then they have to close fantasmic, fireworks and some rides. I am sorry but when lightening is eminent some tall WDW attractions have to close as they are a big target.

After saying that but please let use ride.
I work in Liberty Square. Haunted Mansion is closed for refurbishment right now. It closed early June. It was known that it was going to be closed back in like January. It was posted on Disney.com as an attraction that would not be available. Guests still come up and ask me where the attraction is. I think I'm going to stop mentioning that its closed when I give them directions. I mean after all, they are just asking me where it is. Not if its operational.

A better response: "We had to send it to the cleaners to get a stain out."

Or you could take their map, open it, study it, look up at the sun, then look at the map again, turn toward the direct of the HM, back to the sun, then point on the map and say "right there!" then walk away.

I like it! They, uh, could just be wanting to... take pictures of it! Yeah, that's it!

Well, unless it's dark out (then you wouldn't look toward the sun), I would say that the sun is on the map, illuminating it from afar.

Then you can suggest to the SG's to use a magnifying glass if they need to read the small print on the map.

You could do that thing that my Grandma used to do to see which way the wind was blowing. Lick you finger and hold it up, "let's see, since the wind is blowing north north east at 20 knots and the HM is south east of here you would want to go about 5 clicks west then turn right. That should take you right to it. You have a magical rest of your day" Leave 'em standing there dumbfounded
