I don't think it will ever get old, it's the kind of thing someone who heard the story does so they can laugh about her. Of course, you can always tell which those people are, they can't keep a straight face when they do it.

Com: "All units be advised, security 1 and Delta 1 responding to Lost & Found for a 10-99; female Guest claiming to be Bob Iger is here to take back control of the company."
Still. My. Favorite. Story. EVER!!!

I heard about the Bob Iger call and security said that you had to be there at the park. They said the lady was a royal nut stick.

Not sure if I posted it here but back in 2005 (I believe it was. For reasons, I won't give the call signs))
Rock n Roller Coaster. Note: "launch area" is where the limos take off at the start of the ride.
Me: (Manager call sign) to (Location).
Manager: (Call sign) by...
Me: Um, Patti. Um. We. . . have a squirrel in the launch area.
Manager: Excuse me?
Duty Manager: Duty Manager to (Location), Please be advised that this is not a location for joking, please stop at once.
Me: Duty Manager, I don't have the time to make this up. You wanna see this for yourself, you come down here and see it.
Manager: I'm on my way.
Duty Manager: In route
Five minutes later, the ride has been stopped. The lights are on and guests are freaking out about the "phantom squirrel". Manager and duty manager walk in, I get on the PA system.
Me: Hey, Patti, it's right over there.
Patti: Begins laughing
Duty Manager: Jesus! There's a squirrel by the limo!
Me: *Face palm*

Not theme park related, but this one happened to me recently at school:
I teach in an MR elementary classroom. Several of my students have some very aggressive behaviors, so I carry a radio with me at all times. One day I was working with a student and I guess my radio had somehow come out of my holster. All of a suddent I'm being asked to chase down another student who had run off from the OT as I was the only one around who is restraint trained. After catching said student, I get back and the principal is asking me how so and so got ahold of a radio. I look in my holster, and it is gone. He had put it in my Eeyore mug on my desk.
So apparently this is how it went down:
While I was chasing down the one student, my other student saw the readio I had dropped. He picked it up and started hailing our recovery room guy. he was saying over and over, "Mr. _____, Mr. _____, I need you." He has Downs, so he has a very gruff voice. They couldn't figure out who it was at first and then couldn't figure out where he was. The rest of the day our resource officer was calling for him over the radio.

OK, I was reading this tonight and realized I've spent far too many nights at the late Adventurers Club, because all I could think of was Sugar Snap singing "Gray squirrel, gray squirrel, swish your bushy tail...."

Good lord!! Did they used to sing that at the Adventurer's Club?? We never got a chance to go. My sorority from college used to sing that all the time because a squirrel was our sorority mascot. Bizarre. I thought it was something we made up.
