Official SGT ADD thread

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Hmmmmm. Just like the Pirate huh? ;)techie-13 wrote:He and a couple of the others will start running and wrestling and sometimes they run into (or over) the other dogs in the room. So they get put in time-out to slow them down once and while and keep the others from getting grumpy. There are usually about 20 to 30 dogs in the playspace and 2 employees. If they need to make him sit for five minutes, now and then to make their jobs easier, I have no problems with that.
You REALLY do NOT want to know what they are. TRUST ME! Do NOT ask! :twisted:GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Hmmmmm, do that have the same thing for DW's?

The only GOOD thing is that DW has the DISNEY card for shopping purposes!! And she is much more frugal than I am!! (except for material, sewing machines, and stuff like that!!) I keep having to install software on her laptop and home system, as all the sewing stuff in now computer interfaced and controlled, and like the software I use, has dongles for security, and all the drivers, and ARrrrrhhhh!!

Re: Official SGT ADD thread
So the other night, Liz joined me for dinner on my lunch at Pleasure Island. We went to Nick's Place, got the Big Wallaby Special (something created at my behest, soon to be added to the menu). He wanted feedback, so while Liz was talking to other bus drivers in the break room, I went back to Nick to give him the feedback (EXCELLENT!) before I had to go back to work. He told me she was cute, then accused me of robbing the cradle. Funny part of that is that she's a month older than I am. But for some reason, people think I am older than I am, and they think she is about 20.
Fun times.
Fun times.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Re: Official SGT ADD thread
It's snowing here, has been all day! The weather liars did say we probably would get up to an inch accumulation today, another up to an inch accum tonight, then another up to an inch accum tomorrow. It is purty. It is all white and soft and quiet. Not big fat flakes like I love to see, just a very light snow that keeps going on and on. It is butt cold here and tonight is only gonna get colder. I heard 9 degrees with a wind chill of -4. I will recheck the National weather service, they are usually more accurate. Maybe I'll take some pics and post em, so you can all see the snow, while you sit in 80 degrees down there in Orlando. A friend of mine from Orlando wrote me an email last night, he said it has been unusually warm there, in the 80's. If you want cooler weather, I"ll try to send this snow your way! :D: I am sure Calif is getting the 50's and 60's right about now. I hear there may be rain when we come down. I keep checking the long term forecasts and it does say rain the week we are at DL! And temps in the 50's. Oh well, the pool at the DL Hotel IS heated and I AM going to swim, so I can come back here and tell the neighbors I went swimming on Christmas Day, Nyah, Nyah, Nyah!!!!!! :p: while they are ice skating on the cement ponds round these parts! HAHAHAHA!!!!!
susi :p:
Edit: Just checked Nat'l weather service, they say we may get 2-4 inches of snow tonight! And the temp is going to be 9 degrees, but no wind chill down to
-4. Small blessing. The roads are horrible right now, just enough snow to make it slippery, not enough to be crunchy and tonight when it goes down to 9 degrees, it will freeze up into an ice skating rink and the drive Monday morning will be horrendous. More snow predicted for Monday night after a little break tomorow. Ahhhhhh, Winter in the Rockys. Rocky Mountain highhhhhhhh...in Coloradoooooo....
