Decent concert tho. If I hadnt known it really wasnt Pink Floyd I would have thot it was the original up on stage. Fantastic light show and some neat videos on the screen behind them--tho a few made me rather fuzzy and dizzy from the swirling effects of kaledioscope like designs. I actually drifted off at one point---Hey it is PF music and is relaxing and I was tired.

The best entertainment was the "dancing Dude" He was pretty funny and we were taking bets on how long it would be before he fell over the second story railing. Poor security had to keep chasing him down the aisle and telling him to stop twirling and SIT. LOL
I am rambling now cause I am super tired and I have been going thru computer withdrawl
That happens, Vixen, the ears and eyes go first and then..uh...er...uh... I forget ...oh yeah, the memory is next... :hysteria: I used to love rock concerts and of course, my job in radio kept headphones over my ears at all times on the air and OF COURSE I would crank the volume as any idiot 20 something does (not that ALL 20 somethings are idiots, back in the late 60's and early 70's this was the ONLY way to listen to music, full blast!!!!!). My hearing is shot. I can hardly hear anything Ralph says, oh yeah, that is a WIFE thing, we just don't listen to men anymore, :hysteria: !
No my hearing is pretty bad. Sounds are muffled, not sharp anymore. :( I still listen to Ozzie and Robin Trower full blast though, cause it is the only way I can hear it! HAHAHAHAHAHA... Ba Dum Bum! I will be going to a hearing aid someday, I am sure, just like my dad, I have to shout into the phone now so he can hear me. He worked in the Berkeley City Corporation yard, (garage) all his life, fixing fire engines and ambulances and police cars and there was a LOT of loud noise there. My mom though still hears EVERYTHING!!!!! Damn! Sometimes I wish she wouldn't! :D:

Don't feel bad about hearing loss. I had my annual audiogram and my loss was stopped, but I lost a portion of my range! Even with double earing protection when necessary, it happens!! (at least thats what I tell DW!!!)

Not sure if I should admit this, being a bus driver (FOR TWO MORE DAYS!), but I grew up with awful ear problems. Now that I've grown into my ears, I rarely get dizzy from what I feel.
I'm headed to SE now. I'll explain it all later.

See Post# 848.
He is doing well this morning. The big rash that covered his body is gone and he feels better. He took his first new antibiotic pill at 8 this morning, so we will wait and see how he does on this one. He had a nasty allergic reaction, he said in the ambulance his breathing started to change and they immediately masked him with O2. They had him on fluids and all. He is home and fine. I am relieved. It is such a scare when that kind of thing happens. And because of his head injury I worry about the possibility of problems that could arise, so we are always vigilant with his health. It is hard to say whether he will ever suffer any problems from it again or if he will be okay for the rest of his life. We know he will probably have to have a shoulder replacement surgery and eventually both hips, but for now he is still doing okay. He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. To go through what he did at 21 and still be here and be the kind, patient and brilliant man he is, is testament to his strength and will to live along with God's miracles and the power of prayer. I can't wait for you all to meet him someday. He is a special angel from God, I am convinced. Anyone who dies 4 times and comes back, has something to finish here on earth. I knew from the moment I looked into his eyes I was meant to be with him forever. Just knew it. Can you :D: tell I'm kinda fond of him?
Anyway. thanks again for your well wishes. He does not know it, but he has cheerleaders here on SGT. The GOOD kind of cheerleaders. :D: I have heard about the cheerleader events and how the little darlings act in the Park.

Hugs to you all!
susi and Ralph ( I will make him come on here today!)

Hello everyone! Ralph here!
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It is great to be home and yesterday was so exhausting. It has been a while since I have experienced the *joy* of being in the hospital, but once one has been in the hospital, one does not tend to forget the goings on there.
All of you SGTers are very funny. :D: I look forward to posting more after I take a long nap. I am either a baby or an old man cause those are the two age groups that nap!. Susi thinks I am old baby! ;) or so she says. You all sound like a fun group to chat with, so I am looking forward to posting here more often.
A short riddle for you: What walks on 4 legs in the morning, on 2 legs in the afternoon, and 3 legs in the evening?
Clue: Read "The Odyssey". (Susi says to tell you "if you have time")
Answer to come later, though I am sure most of you will get it! :p:

WELCOME RALPHIE!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:
Glad you are felling much better, I actually know the answer to that riddle....
Man! Crawls as an infant, walks on two legs as an adult, uses a cane as an OLD adult....
Of course, the riddle was written before they invented ECVs and Segways!
