ANOTHER Figment?
Re: ANOTHER Figment?
I'm a huge fan of simulation games, trains, cities, wars/invasions, that sort of thing. Not really a shoot em up kinda gal.

They've got those kinds of games too.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

A friend's then-6-year-old daughter had a special way of playing Rollercoaster Tycoon -- she'd build a brick wall enclosure with no door or other escape, then pick up people wearing green shirts and drop them inside. When questioned why, she just said they "had it coming." :)
Future psychopath? Maybe, but with a little guidance she could become a top-notch anti-SG enforcer. :D:

I don't know how much guidance is needed ... Sounds like she's been noticing that Lime Green is apparently the official color of Board XBRWombat wrote:A friend's then-6-year-old daughter had a special way of playing Rollercoaster Tycoon -- she'd build a brick wall enclosure with no door or other escape, then pick up people wearing green shirts and drop them inside. Re: ANOTHER Figment?
If I was ever playing Roller Coaster Tycoon slightly seriously(who honestly does that?) I would simply place a single do not enter sign right before the exit. Because people actually followed them, no one could leave the park.

There's no place like 127.0.0.1
Re: ANOTHER Figment?
*shyly raises hand* I play RCT2 for serious. Not even joking.
I suddenly want to post my Park I built in RCT2 (uses both expansions). I am hardcore when it comes to RCT, and focus on capacity (high guests per hour) and profit (high $ per hour...even my toilets cost 10 cents to use!) and generally I build some pretty sweet coasters. I think the park is currently 60+ years old right now. Has some 20+ coasters, but they're generally not Six Flags "plopped in a parking lot" style, they're themed and such and are inspired from attractions from SoCal.
I can't stand RCT3 though.

Re: ANOTHER Figment?
I never liked the changed controls and views from RCT3, I played with the demo for a while and just didn't like it. So I never bothered to buy it. It's fun to kill the unhappy people though, it keeps your park rating up! To bad your not allowed to punish SG's like that, it'd be both satisfying and pleasurable at the same time!Freak wrote:

I like most games depending on how much I can get into it, I can spend hours "Taking over the world" in games like 'Age of Empires' or 'Command and Conquer'. Viva Pinata can easily eat up hours of my downtime when in the mood for it and Kincetamails is the same way. Same thing with Zoo Tycoon and Sims3. I don't mind shoot 'em up games but I'm not overly great at them, Dead Rising is still my favorite for stress relief although pounding your spouse senseless in Soul Caliber 4 is highly satisfying! :D:

To me, if you are going to do the first-person shooter, it has to have an excellent storyline, or I get bored quickly. I have one that I am working through at a rate of about 20 minutes a day.

*puts on comic book geek hat*
It has been established that, when Peter Parker needs to unwind, he often goes out "web-slinging", that is to say swinging from building to building using his web-shooters. Oddly enough, I found doing this in the Spider-Man 2 video game to be quite relaxing as well.
