That park is very strict on giving the "Carte Blue"as they call it and it works .
Only those with a legit letter from there doctor gets access to the handicapped lines.
The only problem they have are big mouthing guests from across the ocean that think they can get the Carte Blue easy and without proof :D:
( a friend of mine works there as CM )
Well, that's brought to you by your fine friends at ADA headquarters. They used a lot of different ideas when enacting the law. The only one that was missing was common sense. Too bad..that would have been a much needed addition. I don't believe ADA laws extend to Europe. Not that they wouldn't like them too...

That's only the tip of the iceberg. Safety is also sacrificed for the sake of mobility. I could go on all day about ADA regulations but I would have to use the word "stupid" way to often.

I fully agree but common sense isn't something much people seem to posses.
When we were dining at the Cali Grill parents rolled in there severed handicapped child. NOTHING WRONG WHIT THAT.

When there food was served the child started screaming and throwing every food item she got on the floor. Soup, fries, meat, vegetables, ice cream ,everything landed on the carpet. The poor waiter hat a day job removing the filth from the floor and all the time the child screamed like she was in hell.
Needless to say this was a dinner from hell for those who had to listen an look at this disaster.

Did the parents parent the child? Did management say anything to this family? As I understand the ADA is only allows up to the point it affects business. Disruptive guests can still be removed.

The parents did nothing and I think there was nothing they could have done. The child was mentally and physically handicapped.
All the tables around them were very polite and lets be honest did you ever see a CM or waiter tell people to control there kids or leave?
Normally we eat at signatured restaurants.(old and grumpy you know :p :) but this time we had a child with us and did many character meals.

It was really frighting to see how parents let there kids run around, throw them self on the floor, harass other guests and those poor waiters have to move around with plates of hot food.

In April of 2010, I had sinus surgery to clean everything out. I was then tested for allergies and started shots. 7 weeks into this allergy shots, I complained of a stuffy nose. Allergist said it was the weather. Hmmmm...I went back to my ENT. Oops! I have the stupid things back that started the whole mess over again. My CT scan showed it was filled all the way up again. Any suggestions? Doctor wants to clean the sinuses out again. I said no to continue the shots. I have allergies to grass, molds, polins, etc.
It looks like the carpet will be gone out of this place sooner than I thought.

I agree that lots of parents don't parent and let their children do whatever. I just wanted to point out that it is not the ADA that allows it but the parents.
As far as a waiter asking a parent to control a child. Yes, I have seen it. (I don't think it is a waiter's job) But in the situation I witnessed the child was a danger to the waitstaff and others. The waiter asked the parents to remove the child from the floor so she would not be stepped on. The parents ignored the request. The manager came out and told them to get the child off the floor. And stood there while they did it.

I suffer from these same allergies. By "them" I assume that you mean polyps.
I know that there is a treatment that uses liquid nitrogen to freeze them off, and due to the scar tissue that forms they dont grow back. Ive been mulling it over myself. The last few years I have used Sinus Rinse (a saline rinse) and Nasonex or Nasacort to shrink the polyps. It has kept me infection free for 2 years now. I have never tried using shots, but make use of Alegra daily, and Benydryl when required

I had surgery where the doctor used a mask that was applied to my nose area. It was like a video camera and you could see where everything was blocked. After surgery, I was fine. 6 weeks after surgery I was using Alkalol with water for a cleaning solutioned sprayed in my nose, Astepro 0.15%, Omnaris and Zyrtec 10 mg at night.

Now for today I was taking my break back stage. A CM was looking for a lead. A SG claimed that he had a militart ID and he was allowed not to pay taxes at restaurants. That's weird, everyone has to pay taxes and he was denied by management to get his way.

Only if he's on a military base. Off base they pay what civilians pay. The manager should have gotten his name and unit ID, and turned him in. Fraud is fraud and a little Article 15 action would be good for the scammer.

Thanks for the good tip. My manager denied him and told him sorry.
