Are we really getting back into this? I was hoping this thread would just kinda die out. Why can't it go away?

35 translations later, we get:
This is a new version. Why this article is Oonesnee port?
Since we don't have the option of 54 translations, let's put that back into bing for another five cycles of the 35 translations, where the fourth and fifth are the same:
New version of Oonesn on the Internet?

Funny, I tried that and it gave me something differant. And I thought I posted it--can't find it in my notepad from last year. Gonna have to search....

Okay, found it--post 23. The translation of Adam Savage's catchphrase then was, "Of course, the conditions chosen." Interesting they translated the same phrase two different ways.

Whoops. I got into this thing again. I don't have time for this. Today's theme is Shakespeare. Bunch of nonsense ahead. If you don't have time, just skip this thread. I'll understand
____________________________________________________

"Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none."

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"I think it is a rush."
____________________________________________________

"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages."

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"All over the world. The metal men. Women's players and the Basic 7 food. If you have the time."
____________________________________________________

"Ignorance is the curse of God; knowledge is the wing wherewith we fly to heaven."

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"I don't know if it is a curse from God."
___________________________________________________

"And this, our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything."

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"This book is about the language of the sermons all resources out of the stone, it is not so bad."

I think we may be on to something here, so...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"This book is the source of all the gem Conference."

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"This book is a heuristic method."

I knew it! But what does that mean? ...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"This book is for water"

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"This book has fallen into the sea."

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"This book is a difficult task."

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"This book is my home."

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"This book is my home."

So in 245 translations (or more accurately, 210 translations), we are able to reduce Shakespeare to something an automated translator can understand. I dunno; it doesn't look to me like all that much was lost.*

Well, that's all for today. Time to get back to work. Anyone need an insurance policy, house, or travel arrangements?

I chose a different literary masterpiece -- quotes from Animal House:

Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain't over now. Because when the going gets tough... The tough get going! Who's with me? Let's go!

"The members of the Alliance and tells them? The German attack on Pearl Harbor, and heck, they have now, the population is very difficult. Now comes the"

"Bluto's right. Psychotic... but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons, but that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. "

...35 translations later, Bing gives us:

"Brutus that the insects. Why do you want to ... Classiqu long kiss and millions of people, then you should."

"I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!

We're just the guys to do it. "

Only we can do that to our pledges. "

"You can not buy a newspaper."

The animal house quotes are the BEST....I now have a great need to find that movie..hopefully on Netflix....hmmmmm....

Thanks for the laugh...so needed.

Oh, btw, here is a possible funny....I was working with another CM dealing with a messy guest situation. Anyway, the projection on the castle comes on and for the seemingly millionth time "let it go" plays...VERY VERY loudly. I looked at the other CM, "Just "let It GO"!" He repeated it nodding and smiling that knowing smile.

I have a feeling that just might catch on like "I'm having a Disney Day!" LOL Time will tell.

So congratulations to mapo for breaking the translator!

Okay, fess up. The million dollar post at Studios. That was you that put it there, wasn't it?

I know of one broken thing that wasn't you. I watched it happen. If you are ever out in Pluto Parking and see that light post that is at an angle... remind me to tell you the story sometime. At the time I wanted to bang my head against a wall. Today I find it hilarious.
