I am very tempted to 'color my Easter eggs at MK soon'. Yes, back from special assignment I am back in primarily MK region. Needless to say, dunking some SGs in Rivers of America is becoming very possible..very soon..

Tough couple of days....

To me it just makes sense. If the situation isn't suitable for pin trading you take off your pins.

We need to meet in person sometime. PM me soon so we can arrange it.

Shouldn't that be policy, ESPECIALLY for managers (or any CM) who are taking charge of a "situation" ? It would be directly connected to both SAFETY and EFFICIENCY, I would think.

Gee, Shorty, I thought you wore a hip lanyard so it would be at eye level for normal guests!

There's a reason CMs in safety roles don't wear lanyards. IMO dealing with situations turns the CMs involved roles into safety ones so the lanyards should vanish.

In my area we do hat embroidery. The people sewing are supposed to take off their lanyards for safety (so they don't get caught in the machines). I sometimes "forget" to put my pins back on sometimes when I change roles.

Pretty much, if I'm somewhere where trading pins will be a distraction that could be hazardous I take mine off.

Well, that too. :D:

There are numerous reasons why I have a hip lanyard instead of a neck lanyard. Besides the reasons already mentioned it's also because as I'm so tall I have to bend over a lot at counters (especially to reach inside the glass cases we have in one shop) and the neck lanyard I started with was always banging against and catching the counters.

The turkey vendors in Frontierland are unable to do pin trading.

The cast members are now taking out the greasy legs and wraping then with a whimpy piece of wax paper.

That would be hard to pin trade with turkey gew.

Now 'that' would be the perfect solution for discouraging pin traders.

Nothing discourages them. And I am sure that the CM was being mean and 'coated' the pin in the turkey goo on purpose!

The supervisors won't last the CM's wear the pins. It is a safety issue. I know.

I could see that as a new pin game for the SG. You pay Disney $5, we blind fold you and let you bob for your favorite pin. The pin will be in slimmy luke turkey grease. If you get the pin by your mouth, you win. :D:
